Our collection is carefully handcrafted and custom made to order.

Elle & Jae is an elegant and unique bridal accessories line for modern brides. The collection consists of sashes, headpieces, combs, veils and bridal boleros, in a wide range of colors, textures, and fabrics.  Handmade in Los Angeles, Elle & Jae is inspired by vintage colors and modern trends. 

Elle & Jae is owned and designed by Joey Brooks.  Joey grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BFA in Fashion Design.  After working in New York for many years, designing for brands such as Jessica Simspon, True Religion, Paul Frank, Mossimo, Antonio Melani, and many others, she launched her own bridal accessories line in 2011.  Elle & Jae stands for mother and grandmother, Ellen & Jean, two very creative and wonderful women.

A LETTER FROM THE DESIGNER

I want to personally thank you for your interest in Elle & Jae. I know from experience what a significant, emotional journey it can be while planning a wedding - and how every details matters. It is this passion and precision that inspired me to create Elle & Jae, and help make women feel (and look) their best during their magical moment in time. 

My grandmother taught me to sew & knit at a very early age, and I fast fell in love with designing.  I would spend my afternoons cutting up t-shirts to make new clothes for my Barbies. From then on, I knew making clothing and accessories was my path, and I wanted to share this joy with other people and enrich lives.

 At my core, I am a sentimental girl, and have always loved vintage items that belonged to a family member or has a history– jewelry, scarves, sweaters, etc. This love for nostalgia is the foundation of Elle & Jae; our goal is to create something that is classic and timeless, yet also unique to the individual wearer. We want accessories that say something about the bride’s past, as well as their future – a complement to their life that highlights their beauty inside and out.

To me, there is no greater satisfaction than to share in a bride’s special day and make it more magical. I hope you enjoy the pieces in my collection, and trust when I say that every item was created from a place in my own heart.
